BUSINESS & CORPORATE SUPPORT

First and foremost, we want your participation in supporting CASA in whatever way fits your particular enterprise and fiscal imperatives.

We invite your commitment and imagination, and will join with you in crafting most any support arrangement that brings us both to a winning outcome on behalf of the children we work to help.

CASA'S SITUATION
Right now, a 60% increase in our Volunteer Advocates from 55 to 90 would be actively assigned cases by the Juvenile Courts, and CASA would serve 400 plus vulnerable, abused and neglected children instead of the 200 we project this year.

We are committed to this growth, which demands increasing annual funding by at least 40% over FY08 levels.

CURRENT BUSINESS SUPPORT
About 10% of CASA's FY-08 support to date is from direct business and corporate grants and donations.

This is a fraction of the potential for help from the business communities in Washington, Greene and Unicoi Counties. This level of support is mostly about our habitual focus on government and charitable organization grants and on individual donors, and little to do with the business community's willingness to support us.

SUPPORT OPTIONS
Setting levels and categories of support, whether donations or grants, is intended to provide a basic structure on behalf of streamlining our supporter's decision making. We don't want it to be a box you have to struggle to get in to.

DONATIONS
  • A one time charitable contribution to CASA.
  • Amount is discretionary.
  • These structured levels of contribution are suggested based on the current estimated cost of a Volunteer Advocate working on behalf of a single case: approximately eight hundred dollars.

     Advocate Helper
    Advocate Sponsor
    Advocate Patron
    $100.00 to $390.00
    $400.00 to $790.00
    $800.00 to $1200.00

GRANTS
  • A commitment to provide a specific level of financial support.
  • Disbursement of funds may deferred to a future date, i.e. end of the grantor's 2nd Fiscal Quarter.
  • May be structured as multiple disbursements over a single year or multiyear period.
  • Categories for Grants:

     CASA Partnership
    CASA Sponsorship
    CASA Alliance
    $1500.00 to $3000.00
    $3100.00 to $7000.00
    $7100.00 or Above

MULTI YEAR COMMITMENTS
Pledging multiyear funding represents an important plus up in financial stability for CASA; such arrangements are encouraged.

FUND RAISING EVENT SUPPORT:
CASA NETN conducts two major annual fund raising events: CASA Golf Outing, and CASA Red Shoe Gala. Each of these events represents many opportunities to support CASA. Both are held at the Johnson City Country Club.

CASA GOLF OUTING (August) – sponsorship opportunities:
  • Donation to defer event costs
  • Donation of Outing Prizes
  • Hole Sponsorships
  • Underwriting Hole in One Prize
  • Underwriting a foursome participation from your business

CASA RED SHOE GALA (October) sponsorship opportunities:
  • Donation to defer a portion of event costs
  • Provide items (goods or services) for Gala Silent Auction
  • Underwriting couple or group participation from your business
OTHER SUPPORT OPTIONS:
  • GOODS & SERVICES. Providing goods and or services which support CASA's operations is encouraged.
  • VOLUNTEER EFFORT. CASA must continually recruit in order to replenish our Volunteer Team. Active encouragement by supporting businesses for participation from employees or family members as Volunteer Advocates can be a valuable source of support.
  • PUBLIC PROMOTION OF CASA. Organizations who choose to support CASA can add to the affect by publicizing their support through their own public relations program and by presenting information on their support to CASA in the workplace and in business related publications.

SUPPORT RECOGNITION
CASA's intention is to provide as much recognition as possible to our supporters given the means at our disposal:
  • Press / media coverage
  • CASA Web Site
  • Visibility at CASA Events
  • Special Acknowledgments
