Court Appointed Special Advocates of Northeast Tennessee’s (CASA) mission is to advocate for the best interest of abused and/or neglected children in the juvenile court system. We believe every child is entitled to a safe and stable home. Trained volunteers are the child’s voice. Volunteers ensure the child’s needs are identified and addressed.
Lift Up A Child’s Voice, A Child’s Life.
CASA of Northeast Tennessee is a Nonprofit, Community Based, Volunteer Service Organization that has worked with the Juvenile Courts of Johnson City, Washington, Greene, and Unicoi Counties since 1986.
We believe that every child has the right to thrive in a safe, stable and loving home. Dedicated volunteers are appointed by the judge to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their home because of abuse and neglect.
Our goal is to provide a CASA volunteer to 100% of the abused and neglected children in our community.
Our Volunteers are the strength of our organization. They have positively impacted countless lives in our community. To each and every Volunteer, we thank you.
This project is funded under a grant project with the state of Tennessee.
